CNC machining is a form of subtractive manufacturing that automatically removes material from
raw stock based on computer-generated instructions.
Typically, CNC machines are categorized into two types: one that keeps the raw stock stationary
while rotating the cutting tool, and the other that rotates the raw stock while moving it against a
stationary tool. Various adaptations and hybrids of these methods are employed to create parts with
complex features.

CNC Machining Using Brass Material
Brass is a metal alloy known for its low friction properties, exceptional electrical conductivity,
and distinctive golden appearance.
This material offers good machinability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications that
demand low friction and high electrical conductivity.

FAQ's
1. What are standard machining tolerances?
The standard machining tolerance is ± 0.005" or 0.13mm. Tolerances represent the allowable
range for a dimension. For example, if a CNC machining tool has a tolerance of ± 0.01 mm,
it means the tool can deviate by 0.01 mm in each cut.
Utilizing a drawing, our CNC machining service can achieve CNC parts with tolerances as low
as ± 0.0002 in. In the absence of a drawing, all CNC parts adhere to our ISO 2768 medium
standard.
Additionally, we have the capability to machine to tighter tolerances, such as ±0.025mm or
±0.001", when an engineering drawing specifies critical features.
2. What size of fillets are added when no specific fillet is specified by the 3D model
or drawing?
When a specific fillet radius is not specified in the 3D model or drawing, fillet radii conducive to
easy machining will be added at the machinist's discretion. For guidance, internal vertical edge
radii could exceed 1/3 of the depth, while internal horizontal edges may either be left sharp or
have a radius ranging from 0.5mm to 1mm.
3. Quality Assurance Commitment:
We prioritize customer trust by implementing established quality management principles to
elevate customer satisfaction and consistently enhance our performance and capabilities.
Drawing on decades of experience, we adhere to stringent regulations and maintain PPAP
compliance for the automotive, aerospace, and medical device industries.
These industries serve as benchmarks for all the products we manufacture.
4. What industries do you typically work in? Who are your typical customers?
We have an extensive presence across various industries, working with heavy equipment
manufacturers, general commercial businesses, and companies in industrial, transportation,
medical, and consumer sectors, among others.
Our clientele spans the United States, Europe, and worldwide. Despite the diversity in industries,
our customers share a common requirement for high-quality parts machined to specifications,
delivered on time, and within budget.
